Striking a pose on the slopes of Saas-Fee, Switzerland, former cover girl Hunter McGrady looked the coolest (literally).

The SI Swimsuit Legend, who made her debut with the brand in 2017, returned to the fold this year, joining newbies Elisha and Renee Herbert, as well as brand staple Camille Kostek, in the mountainous region for a snowy photo shoot that McGrady couldn’t help but gush over.

“To be asked back for an eighth year with [SI Swimsuit] is absolutely an honor. I am just as humbled, and somehow even more grateful,” McGrady shared on Instagram on May 14. “Gosh, was this a dream shoot. Thank you, team.”

The Southern California native also attended several activations during launch week for the magazine’s 2025 issue, including the official launch party at the Hard Rock Hotel New York and the inaugural SI Swimsuit Social Club in SoHo.

After her stint in the Big Apple, McGrady shared more frames from her latest gallery on the Meta platform, and her post from Tuesday may be her edgiest outfit yet.

The model sported an all-black ensemble on the Alps, pairing an abstract AIBRYD top with high-cut bikini bottoms from Monday Swimwear. To shield her eyes from the sun, McGrady rocked Bottega Veneta oversized glasses with furry knee-high boots.

“😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 Nobody like you honestly,” Sarah Nicole Landy commented. “slide 4 needs to be on a billboard.”

“Sassss 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Penny Lane added.

“UNREALLLLLLL 🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍,” McGrady’s sister Michaela chimed in.

McGrady explained that her fulfillment with SI Swimsuit goes far beyond a singular shot, and instead stems from wanting to empower magazine readers by being a beacon in the modeling industry.

“The best comments that I can get from women, especially, is just saying that I have helped them love themselves, even the tiniest bit, right?” McGrady disclosed. “That is the most special thing to me ever, knowing that you have impacted someone’s life in a positive way [...] That to me is success.”

McGrady also shared her hopes for the future of the fashion industry as she continues to advocate for body positivity.

“In 20 years, I would love for fashion to be truly inclusive across the board, across all boards. I would love to stop mentioning people’s size because it’s the least important thing about them,” the model continued. “I want brands to do the work. I want higher-ups to do the work, and I want that to be trickled all the way down to the bottom so that the consumer can reap those benefits.”
