Model Sixtine Rouyre Is Counting Down the Days Until the 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue Launches

The body neutrality TikToker makes her rookie appearance in the magazine this month.

Sixtine Rouyre can hardly wait for the SI Swimsuit Issue to launch this month. The body neutrality TikToker, who will be featured in the magazine as a rookie, shared a sweet Instagram message alongside a stunning behind the scenes video from her photo shoot in Dominica earlier this year.

“Eeeeeeeeppp the countdown to @si_swimsuit 2023 is on & I can’t wait to show you all this issue!! Come celebrate the launch of the 2023 issue with me and the rest of this year’s beautiful models @hardrockholly from Friday, May 19th through Sunday, May 21st 🫶🏼,” the 25-year-old wrote. “The celebration will kick off with an exclusive concert from Kim Petras at Hard Rock LIVE on Friday, May 19th followed by a full lineup of daytime activities on Saturday and Sunday (including a workout from my fellow rookie @melissawoodtepperberg !!) Tickets are in my bio, I can’t wait to celebrate with you all ❤️.”

The video, shared with Rouyre’s 117,000 followers, was set to a remix of Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been.”

The model hopes to represent normal, natural bodies with her SI Swimsuit feature—which she says she manifested by including the opportunity in her mood board for 2023.

“I really hope that in seeing me, people see themselves,” she said. “I don’t want to be just another pretty face on a billboard that’s been Photoshopped to the nines. I really want people to [feel represented] and I want someone to say, ‘Oh, well that girl is not a standard size 0, 5’ 11” model, she looks like me. She has the same body as me.’”
