Another Beloved Reality TV Couple Splits—Despite Never Defining Their Relationship

The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pair has reportedly gone their separate ways.

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber appear to have called it quits on their romance, which reportedly began during their time together on Dancing With the Stars nearly a year ago. Per an insider report from PEOPLE this week, the two are headed their separate ways but are choosing to remain “good friends.”

Tran and Farber first met as one another’s dance partners on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. The two had chemistry both on and off-screen, with their viral Viennese Waltz being a fan favorite, as it not only showed improvement as dance partners but also marked the moment things seemed to be heating up between them.

“We’ve had so much fun in rehearsals every day, we spent every waking second together—like, what’s life going to be like after this?” Tran told Good Morning America after her and Farber’s elimination from the competition. “We weren’t even supposed to be on this season, and by a twist of fate, we were put on it—and it happened at a time in my life where I was at my lowest of lows, and suddenly was at a new high.”

In the end, the pair placed seventh overall in season 33. And though their time on the program was cut short, their chemistry didn’t end there, with Tran opening up about the inevitable feelings that brew when you grow so close to someone.

“It is physically impossible not to somewhat feel something, you know? Whether you’re in a relationship or not, you’re gonna feel some type of way about somebody getting close in your face,” Tran shared with Boyfriend Material in January 2025. “And so when you’re intimate like that with someone who you’re not used to yet, and someone who is your dance partner doing their job. To them, it’s nothing because it’s their job, right? But us normal people were like, ‘Whoa, do you like me? Like, why are you touching me like that?’”

Despite never defining their relationship publicly, Tran and Farber were often seen together on social media, attending concerts and festivals, celebrating one another’s birthdays and posting dancing videos on their respective social media pages, which was why fans were more than a little convinced that the two were in a romantic relationship.

As of now, the former Dancing With the Stars contestants still follow one another on Instagram, further solidifying the insider report that they remain friends.
