Emily Ratajkowski and Austin Butler Ignite Romance Rumors After Being Spotted Out Together

The actor and model were allegedly seen chatting over a couple of drinks in a New York City restaurant.

Austin Butler sparked romance rumors this week after he was spotted enjoying a night out in New York City with model and actress Emily Ratajkowski.

The romance rumors

According to a report from TMZ, the actor and model were allegedly photographed together in a booth at a New York City restaurant, enjoying a couple of drinks and chatting.

TMZ also noted that this isn’t the first time these two have been photographed together, either. The pair were also spotted together in snapshots taken at the New York afterparty for Butler’s latest film, Caught Stealing.

While nothing more is currently known about the actor and model’s potential status, these aren’t the first romance rumors swirling around Butler recently.

Other recent rumors

This past week, social media influencer and SI Swimsuit model Haley Kalil humorously reacted to a report from TMZ on her Instagram account linking her to the Elvis actor. The headline of the article she was referring to appeared to confirm that she was not dating the actor—a rumor that was news to Kalil herself.

“WHAT IS THIS HELP WHO EVER THINKS I CAN PULL LIKE THIS IS WILDING HAHAHAHA,” the caption of Kalil’s Instagram video read. The mix-up began after a TikTok of the actor showed him chatting on a balcony with a mystery woman whom some believed to be Kalil. The influencer later joked in a statement to TMZ: “It’s not me, but I wish it was. Austin, my DMs are open.”

Earlier this year, Butler was also potentially linked to his Caught Stealing co-star, Zoë Kravitz. However, the two were later confirmed to be “just friends.” Kravitz herself has also recently sparked dating rumors after allegedly being seen out and about with Harry Styles, according to Page Six.

What’s up next for the actor and model

As noted, Butler just finished promoting his latest film, which was released in theaters on Aug. 29. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the dark comedy thriller currently boasts an 85% score on Rotten Tomatoes. He’s also slated to appear in the upcoming A24 film Enemies, starring alongside Jeremy Allen White, though no official release date is available yet.

Meanwhile, Ratajkowski has her own A24-produced project in the works. According to Deadline, the actress is involved in an upcoming Apple TV+ project where she’ll team up once again with Lena Dunham, with whom she recently collaborated for Netflix’s Too Much. Per the article, the show will seek to explore “female identity and modern motherhood,” and will also be written and executive-produced by Ratajkowski and Stephanie Danler.
