If you thought this would be your first Tuesday without the hit ABC show, think again!

After a record-breaking three-hour finale episode last Tuesday night, Dancing With the Stars officially named Robert Irwin and his pro partner Witney Carson the Season 34 winners. Still, the episode was bittersweet—while fans were more than overjoyed to see a winner finally selected, many already missed their weekly dance fix. However, as it turns out, those ballroom blues might have been a bit premature!

That’s right, DWTS is returning to ABC again tonight—just one week after the Season 34 finale aired—to celebrate the upcoming holidays with a very special episode featuring some fan-favorite stars and pro dancers. With that in mind, here’s absolutely everything you need to know to enjoy the show!

When & where to watch

The DWTS holiday special—adorably and aptly titled Dancing with the Holidays—will air tonight: Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m. The show will not air live like the seasonal competition episodes, and will instead air at 8 p.m. both ET and PT.

According to the official press release from ABC: “The ballroom comes alive with holiday magic as Dancing With the Stars celebrates the season with festive-themed routines, dazzling musical performances and special holiday greetings.”

You can watch the special as it airs on ABC and Disney+; otherwise, it will be available to stream on Hulu tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 3. While it is only slated to be one hour long as opposed to last week's three-hour extravaganza, it promises to be chock-full of holiday cheer, as well as “special performances and unforgettable moments.”

Who can we expect to see?

While no official announcement has been made regarding who fans can expect to see on the special episode—as these names will likely be surprises—there were a few familiar faces spotted in a promotional video shared to the official DWTS Instagram account earlier this week, as well as in the promotional photos.

And of course, fans can always count on hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough to be present—and perhaps even a Santa Claus or two.

Returning stars

As noted above, there has been no official announcement regarding which previous contestants might swing by. Still, promotional footage and photos have revealed that Season 33 contestant Reginald VelJohnson will be stopping by for a performance. Also, it appears our aforementioned host for the evening, Ribeiro, will be hitting the hardwood again for a festive routine.

Finally, a short Instagram video also gave viewers a sneak peek at a performance by Season 34 contestant Andy Richter, where he appears to be dressed as a tooth (a reference to Hermie from the classic film Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, perhaps? Or maybe just a reminder to take care of your teeth among all those holiday sweets?).

Aside from potential dance routines, Season 34 star Scott Hoying is also slated to be on hand for a performance with his a capella group Pentatonix.

Returning pros

As seen in the promotional video clip and images, many fan-favorite pros from Season 34 will be taking a spin around the ballroom in their holiday best to spread a little cheer!

These include (but are not limited to): Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Jan Ravnik, Emma Slater, Pasha Pashkov and many more, plus several dancers from the DWTS touring troupe. The pros who placed in the top three this past season will also be featured, with winner Carson and third-place pro Ezra Sosa (who was paired with Jordan Chiles this season) set to appear.

Plus, second-place pro Val Chmerkovskiy (who was paired with Alix Earle this season) and pro Jenna Johnson are also set to perform together with their child in a sweet family number sure to leave fans feeling warm and fuzzy.

And that’s everything we know for now, but the show promises plenty more spectacular surprises, so be sure to tune in for all the holly jolly fun when Dancing With the Holidays premieres tonight!
