Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Announce They’re Expecting First Child With Intimate Video

It’s official: Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are expecting their first baby! The actress and NFL player took to Instagram on Friday, Dec. 13, to share the exciting news via a sweet, intimate joint post.
An adorable announcement
In the short video featuring a watermark from Steinfeld’s Beau Society, the couple stood out in the snow on a gray, moody day, cuddled up in matching black winter-ready ensembles. The Buffalo Bills quarterback kneeled for the opening shot, kissing the actress’s baby bump as she hiked up her sweatshirt. Allen then rose to stand, and the two shared a kiss while smiling from ear to ear.
From there, they posed with her bump on full display, kissing again and giggling before Steinfeld lowered her sweatshirt to reveal the word “mother” written on it multiple times. They both energetically pointed at the word, laughing and chatting with someone just off-screen.
They then turned, looking down at something on the ground, which was revealed to be a miniature snowman complete with a tiny red scarf. The adorable announcement was simply captioned, “❤️”
Famous friends react
Naturally, many followers and famous friends of the couple were excited to hop in their joint comment section to share their excitement for the soon-to-be first-time parents:
“Ahhhhhhh🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Hailey Bieber wrote.
“OH MY GODDDDD HAILS!!!!!” Millie Bobby Brown exclaimed.
“Omg yaaaaaayyyy,” Gigi Hadid rejoiced.
“congratulations ❤️✨,” Halle Bailey added.
“Wow massive congrats you two 😍,” Taylor Launter chimed in.
“So so so happy for you guys 🤍,” Christen Goff penned.
Relationship timeline
According to Us Weekly, Steinfeld and Allen were first linked romantically back in May 2023. However, the two didn’t go Instagram official until a little over a year later, after Allen posted a photo with Steinfeld on the app in July 2024. Then, just four months after confirming their romance online, the two announced their engagement with another Instagram post in November 2024.
Needless to say, 2025 has been a huge year for the pair, both individually and as a couple. On the professional side, Steinfeld starred in one of the biggest films of the year, Sinners—which is nominated for seven Golden Globes, including Best Picture - Drama—while Allen’s Bills are currently 9-4 with high playoff odds at the time of this article’s publication.
On the personal side, the two tied the knot in Santa Barbara, Calif., back in May of this year while surrounded by friends and family. They then ventured out on a tropical honeymoon, sharing photos from their travels with their Instagram followers.
Congratulations to the couple!
