Hilary Duff is hitting the road, and her massive fanbase is more than excited. The 38-year-old ‘Roommates’ singer declared today, Feb. 12, that she’s heading on ‘the lucky me tour’ this summer, and shared the news in an Instagram reel that commenters are properly deeming as “iconic.”

Duff debuts ‘the lucky me tour’ to social media

In the 54-second clip, Duff —in a solid white tee and baggy jeans—began by asking, “What can fit in my suitcase?” before reaching into a closet to reveal some apparel staples from her on-screen stints in the early 2000s.

In one instance, while pulling out an ivory masquerade mask, the singer quipped via voiceover, “Well, if Austin Ames can't recognize me, who will?” referencing her character, Sam Montgomery, in the 2004 classic A Cinderella Story. In the film, Duff wore the mask to conceal her identity from her on-screen love interest, the aforementioned Austin Ames, played by Chad Michael Murray.

The reel also nodded to Duff’s 2003 film, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, as she grabbed a headset and playfully tried it on. “Sing to me, Paulo,” the artist gushed, mirroring a line from her character, Isabella Parigi—an Italian pop star whom she portrays alongside American student McGuire. She starred as the lead in the Disney Channel television series from 2001 to 2004.

After tossing a number of garments to the side—and referencing some of her most-recognizable hits from the Y2K era, like “So Yesterday” and “Wake Up”—she grabbed a mint green fur coat, tossed the outerwear on and stated, “Oh! She’s cute; lucky me!” as the name of the tour appeared on-screen.

Finally, the reel debuted a list of cities that Duff will be heading to, beginning with West Palm Beach, Fla., on June 22 and concluding with Mexico City, Mexico, on Feb. 12. Duff will over two dozen stops in North America from June to August, before heading overseas to Ireland and the United Kingdom in September, then Australia and New Zealand in October. The tour will continue into 2027, beginning in Canada from Jan. 22 to Feb. 7 and finishing with a singular show in Mexico in mid-February.

Before the tour commences, the artist will touch down in Las Vegas for three consecutive shows starting tomorrow, Feb. 13, through Feb. 15. She’ll return to the same venue from May 22-24.

A fan frenzy in the artist’s comment section

Duff’s reel has garnered thousands of comments in just a few hours online, as fans raved over her latest endeavor.

“AND THIS IS HOW YOU ANNOUNCE A WORLD TOUR,” one commenter proclaimed.

“the nostalgia in this video makes my heart SO happy,” another added.

“Are we understanding how iconic this video is!?!” One fan asked.

“BEST NEWS EVERRRRRR,” one commenter declared.
