Jena Sims reminded her followers today, Feb. 12, that when it comes to her social media accounts, she’s the main character.

The 37-year-old model and HBBQs, Inc. (Has Been Beauty Queens) founder shared a 43-second reel on Instagram—posted to TikTok hours prior on Feb. 11—to address a specific note she has frequently received regarding the content she shares on her own social media.

“I handle a lot of hate proudly, easily, gladly, happily,” Sims began the clip, sporting a butter yellow dress with her blonde hair in a loose wave. “But one thing I don’t necessarily tolerate is when people put under my post: ‘‘It’s all about you.’”

The Georgia native stood firm in her content, which often surrounds beauty, wellness and lifestyle endeavors. Sims also showcases her family, including her husband, professional golfer Brooks Koepka, and their two-year-old son, Crew, and their travels and milestones together.

“Yes, it is. It is all about me. The username up top is Jena M Sims. That is my name; this is my personal TikTok page,” Sims continued, editing the previously posted TikTok video to flash “*Instagram” on-screen after referring to the social media app. “It’s not ‘Brooks Koepka Fan Club,’ ‘Brooks Koepka’s wife.’ It’s not any other thing except for my own social media. So, yes, I do post about my life and things that I enjoy on my own social media pages.”

Finally, the multihyphenate—who is also an investor in DIBS Beauty—detailed just how often she receives the specific criticism, telling her fanbase, “If I had a dime for every time somebody said, ‘You’re making this about you’ [...] I’d have a lot of dimes.”

And her fanbase had her back on both apps. One user wrote in the comments of her TikTok video, “You are 100% allowed to have an identity that’s not connected to your spouse. It’s what makes YOU special.”

“Omg how dare you make YOUR page about YOU! 😂 Keep it up girl! We love you!💖,” a commenter encouraged underneath her Instagram post. Sims later responded, “gotta agree 😂”.

Another playfully penned, “😂 for real like this is MY page who else should it be about?!” While one commenter advised, “Time to block the trolls 😈.”

Sims seemed to already be on it, writing back, “my fingers are sore 😂.”
