Jenna Ortega’s fashion is simply unmatched.

The 23-year-old got her start in Hollywood at just nine years old with a role on the hit TV series Jane the Virgin before branching out into film with roles in popular horror films like X, the rebooted Scream franchise and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, cementing her status as an up-and-coming scream queen. Teaming up with director Tim Burton, Ortega has also celebrated incredible success in the role of Wednesday Addams on the Netflix series Wednesday.

While her presence onscreen has made her a household name, another aspect of the actress’s career that fans can’t get enough of is her unique sense of style. Merging modern pieces with gothic vibes, Ortega is the ultimate inspiration when it comes to styling unforgettable looks and daring details. Whether she’s walking the red carpet or living her life off-screen, the actress knows how to take her looks to the next level.

With this in mind, we’ve curated a collection of some of our favorite outfits from Ortega throughout the years:

Always red carpet ready

Two words come to mind when thinking of Ortega’s red carpet style: gothic greatness. The actress often opts for dramatic silhouettes and one-of-a-kind details to make her elevated looks stand out. Her daring glam and adventurous hair choices only add to the vibe, resulting in many expertly styled ensembles. Still, “gothic” doesn’t mean one only wears black—as demonstrated below—with the adjective speaking more to the overall aesthetic.

Merging corsets and ruffles

Taking tailored suits to the next level

Going gold on the red carpet

Stunning fans in an ivory silk number

Rocking a daring glam with a latex look

Channeling cool grunge vibes

Glittering in a silver silhouette

Taking a (newspaper) page out of Carrie Bradshaw’s book

Suiting up in serious style

Mixing textures for one show-stopping ensemble

Off the carpet coolness

When it comes to her day-to-day fashion, Ortega keeps the cool girl vibes going strong, but loses a few of the more structured silhouettes in favor of chic, wearable choices. The actress can typically be found sporting mini dresses, pantsuits and blouses, while keeping her hair and makeup fun and playful.

Lounging in a fur coat

Posing in a plaid pantsuit

Looking radiant in sheer red ruffles

Bringing back bleached eyebrows

Accessorizing with exceptional style

Posing in the perfect pop of color

Magazine cover girl

Ortega has graced the cover of many magazines since she broke onto the Hollywood scene, and for those appearances, she’s generally styled with her typical retro radiance. Still, “typical” never means “boring,” as many outlets use the opportunity to showcase the star’s versatility.

Stepping into the light in cherry-red for Vanity Fair

Embracing cottagecore vibes for Vogue

Accessorizing with feathers for Sunday Times Style UK

Going back to classic goth aesthetics for The Cut

Looking ahead: what’s up next for Ortega?

This past year saw the actress reach new heights when she returned for the second season of Wednesday, with a third season already confirmed by Netflix, as reported by Deadline.

Up next, Ortega is slated to co-star alongside Natalie Portman in Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist. Along with Ortega and Portman, the film boasts a massive cast with many Hollywood heavy hitters, including Sterling K. Brown, Zach Galifianakis, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Charli XCX.

The project is a dark comedy, with Deadline describing the story as being about “a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead body at Art Basel Miami.” The Gallerist is currently set to premiere during the Sundance Film Festival in January 2026; however, no official date is available at this time regarding a wider release.
