Jordan Chiles and ‘DWTS’ Partner Ezra Sosa Respond to Romance Rumor in the Funniest Way

The two placed third on Season 34 of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

The former Dancing With the Stars partners—who placed third overall in Season 34 after delighting fans with their sweet friendship and sensational skills—were the subject of a romance rumor this past week, claiming the two had gotten engaged. On Dec. 28, Sosa took to TikTok to share a screenshot of an article proclaiming: “BIG SECRET REVEALED: Jordan Chiles is secretly engaged to her DWTS partner Ezra Sosa [...].” Sosa then penned in the caption of the TikTok: “plot twist of the mf century @Baby Jo #dwts.”

However, rather than rejecting the rumor, the besties decided to have a little fun instead. On Dec. 30, the DWTS pro posted a follow-up video and photo set on social media, this time showing himself and Chiles getting matching tattoos reading “Just Married” in cursive. The Olympian got the words placed on the back of her neck, while Sosa opted for placement on his hand. In the caption, Sosa added, “keeping the tradition 💍🙂‍↕️ @Baby Jo #dwts.”

Chiles wore a diamond ring on her finger to reference their “engagement,” with the two holding hands as they sat for their session. A viral sound played over the clips, claiming “the wedding is tomorrow!” as hectic music progressed. At the end of the video, the two posed with their new “ink” (though the shots appeared to show only the stencils, so it’s unclear if the two actually got the words tattooed) before breaking into a fit of giggles, further confirming to fans that they were responding to the rumor all in good fun.

Fans (and famous friends) are loving it

And speaking of fans, plenty of followers who cheered on Chiles and Sosa during the latest season were quick to stop by their comment sections to share in the laughter:

“If there’s one thing you can count on Ezra to do it is commit to the bit,” one commenter wrote on TikTok.

“IM HOLLERING WHY ARE YALL SO SERIOUSLY UNSERIOUS,” another added.

“This is literally the funniest thing I’ve ever seen,” another fan penned on Instagram.

Still, it wasn’t only fans of the dancing duo that shared their feelings on the “news,” with a couple of familiar DWTS family members also commenting:
