Megan Thee Stallion Shares Exciting Career News Involving a Stint on Broadway

The artist is hitting the stage in a big way beginning in late March.

Megan Thee Stallion revealed “Thee hottest news on Broadway” to her 32.7 million Instagram followers earlier this week, and fans of the 31-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist are totally here for it—ourselves included.

On the heels of her appearance at the Milan Cortina Games, Megan extended her stay in Italy to attend Milan Fashion Week, touching down at the Roberto Cavalli Fall Winter 2026/2027 show yesterday, Feb. 26. While there, she disclosed an upcoming springtime endeavor in New York City. In her post, the artist shared that she is heading to Broadway for an over-month-long stint in Moulin Rouge! The Musical in the role of Zidler from March 24 to May 17.

“Stepping onto the Broadway stage and joining the Moulin Rouge! The Musical team is an absolute honor,” Megan stated, perVariety. “I’ve always believed in pushing myself creatively, and theater is definitely a new opportunity that I’m excited to embrace. Broadway demands a different level of discipline, preparation and storytelling, but I’m up for the challenge and can’t wait for the Hotties to see a new side of me.”

Additionally, the publication reported, when the three-time Grammy Award winner hits the stage for her debut in late March, the feat “will mark the first time a female-identifying performer is portraying the character [of Zidler] in any Moulin Rouge! production worldwide”.

The history-making moment has already been met with high anticipation. In just one day, Megan's post has notched 396,000 likes and counting, along with nearly 10,000 comments from fellow celebrities and fans, at the time of this article’s publication.

“🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Flavor Flav penned on the fellow artist’s post.

“i love this!!!” Chlöe Bailey chimed in.

“Now I gotta find a way to get to NYC,” one fan declared.

Another added, “oh she is truly unstoppable 😭❤️❤️”.

Megan has had a momentous start to 2026. In addition to her stint in Italy, where she linked up with numerous Olympic athletes on location—like speed skater Sarah Warren, gold-medal winning figure skater Madison Chock and gold-medal winning hockey player Laila Edwards—she released her latest tune, “B.B.B.” with JUVENILE today, Feb. 27.

The artist has also enjoyed some rest and relaxation with her beau, Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson, and headed out on a tropical birthday vacation by the coast before touching down for the festivities in Italy to round out the month of February.
