Olivia Dunne is far from done when it comes to practicing gymnastics.

The 23-year-old content creator officially bid the sport a fond farewell in a professional context when she retired last April, which she announced via a heartfelt social media post. In the emotional announcement, the athlete was filled with gratitude for her time on the mat, saying, “Gymnastics, you have filled my heart and will always be a part of me. You’ve shaped me into the person I am today, creating memories and sisterhoods that will last a lifetime beyond the sport. You are my first love.”

Still, just because Dunne has stopped competing professionally doesn’t mean she’s abandoned her “first love—a fact she recently reminded fans of via her TikTok account.

In her latest video—which was posted to the app on Wednesday, Jan. 21—the athlete completed an impressive press handstand in the gym without so much as breaking a sweat before flexing and posing for the camera. “me making sure I can still do a press handstand randomly every six months,” she joked in text written over the clip.

Dunne wore an adorable, coordinating plum-colored workout set, comprising a compression crop top and matching shorts. With her signature platinum blonde tresses tied back in a high ponytail for her impromptu workout, the athlete penned in the caption, “ya girl still got it #gymnastics #workout #handstand”

Fans (& friends) are impressed

Of course, we weren’t the only ones blown away by the effortlessness with which the athlete was able to glide right back into her sport. Several fans and friends also took to her comment section on TikTok to sing her praises, and to share some relatable moments of their own:

“Me today in the gym making sure I can do a scorpion still,” Megan Eugenio joked.

“the way i lost mine the SECOND i went to college smh,” a fan and fellow former gymnast wrote.

“💯 PERCENT BADDIE 😋🔥🔥🔥,” one user praised.

“Muscle memory nvr goes away but the body does stop working eventually 😂,” another commenter warned.

What’s next for Dunne?

With her gymnastics days in her metaphorical rearview mirror, Dunne’s future remains as bright as ever, with plenty of exciting things ahead. Following her retirement last Spring, the content creator pursued multiple new ventures, including new brand deals—like her humorous partnership with Secret deodorant—and modeling opportunities, gracing the cover of Maxim’s Winter 2025 issue.

No matter what lies ahead for this superstar, one thing’s for sure: she’s still, in fact, “got it.”
