Olivia Ponton’s Extensive ‘2025 Reading Wrapped’ Is the Perfect Place to Find Your Next Great Read

As 2025 winds down and 2026 rapidly approaches, you’re likely deciding on a new year’s resolution. Well, if you’re aiming to read more books come January, Olivia Ponton has you covered with a few suggestions.
The model and Booked & Busy podcast host took to Instagram this week to share her “2025 Reading Wrapped” list with her 2.8 million followers, alongside a quick review of each book she devoured over the course of the last 12 months. And yes, the impressive list was so extensive, the video had to be divided into two parts.
Ponton’s 2025 Reading Wrapped: Part One
In January, Ponton read “Twisted Fate” by Ana Huang, saying, “I hated it in the beginning, and then I loved it.” She also picked up “Blossoms in the Winter” by Melanie Martins, adding, “I started it on a flight to Paris. I read the entire nine-hour flight. It was an overnight flight. I was supposed to sleep through the night, but I couldn’t. I was obsessed.”
She noted that February and March were “slower” for her, with the model only reading one book between the two months—“Things We Never Got Over” by Lucy Score—saying, “There were so many plot twists in the book I was not expecting.” For April, she added “Magnolia Parks” by Jessa Hastings to her finished pile, recommending it for “the fashion girlies.” She also finished “The Playboy” by Marni Mann, recommending it for readers who love “spice.”
In May and June, the model said she “went crazy,” specifically praising the books “Paper Princess” by Erin Watt, “King of Wrath” by Ana Huang and the entire “Selection” series by Kiera Cass (which she also covered on her podcast).

From there, she moved on to part two of the list, jumping into July, where she read “The Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins, saying the book “completely altered her year.” She also snagged “Summer in the City” by Alex Aster, praising the author’s writing style and world-building.
In August, September and October, Ponton read “The Housemaid“ by Freida McFadden (another book she covered on her podcast), “Heir of Storms” by Lauren Hamilton Murray and “The Inheritance Games” by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, before going back to reread her first podcast-covered book, “Red Queen” by Victoria Aveyard, adding, “The fact that I reread it speaks for itself.”
And to finish off her year, she read “The Deal” by Elle Kennedy, “Next to Heaven” by James Fry, “King of Pride” by Ana Huang, “The Notorious Virtues” by Alwyn Hamilton, “Lightlark” by Alex Aster (another book covered on her podcast), “Bride” by Ali Hazelwood and “My Oxford Year” by Julia Whelan in November. For December, she picked up “Conform” by Ariel Sullivan, “Caraval” by Stephanie Garber and “People We Meet on Vacation” by Emily Henry, noting that she was “obsessed with the main characters.”
