Paige Spiranac Reveals the ‘Most Outrageous’ Headlines She’s Read About Herself

Paige Spiranac is sharing just a few of the “most outrageous” headlines she’s seen about herself over the years.
The former professional golfer turned popular content creator has been aiming to do more online in 2026 after taking a brief hiatus in 2025. In fact, when SI Lifestyle spoke to Spiranac back in December, she told us she “ really wants to get back into finding the joy of creating.” With this in mind, she’s been taking to social media more often in January and February, posting chatty “Get Ready With Me” videos and vlogs, getting candid about her life in the spotlight.
And the athlete continued this trend on Wednesday, Feb. 18, sharing a video on X (formerly Twitter) breaking down a handful of the most absurd—and in several cases, outright “untrue”—headlines she’s seen written about herself.
Spiranac shares the “most outrageous” headlines
The content creator kicked off the video with a few headlines that were on the lighter side. “Things I never said? That,” Spiranac stated, pointing to a headline that read, “Instagram golf star: ‘My boobs are too much for the LPGA.’” She moved on to another, joking, “And this is one of my all-time favorites: ‘Why Paige Spiranac doesn’t wear underwear on the golf course’—this came from a Q&A where someone asked what I wear under my golf skirts, and I said that I wear athletic shorts, and this was the headline that followed.”
From there, Spiranac then moved on to headlines that she stated were “the most insane” and “untrue,” including a headline claiming she once rejected $30 million from Elon Musk, one claiming she’d allegedly had a “hidden affair with Tiger Woods,” and even one claiming she’d allegedly been dating Woods’ son—the latter headline accompanied by an AI image.
“I feel like this should actually be illegal, along with people impersonating you online,” Spiranac said of the latter headlines. “Writing something that is just not true—100% not true at all—is insane.”
