Sabrina Carpenter Channels Bond Girl Glamour in New Campaign

If there was any shadow of a doubt as to whether Sabrina Carpenter could play the part of a gorgeous vixen in an action film, they had better cease to exist once viewing her latest campaign. The pop hitmaker is an absolute vision in all forms, even in black and white.
In her collaboration with Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker, Carpenter looks remarkable in a form-fitting, long-sleeve bodycon dress. The piece is as glamorous as ever, especially when it comes to the dramatic deep plunge located in the back of the dress.

A pair of classy-looking heels and the slightest touch of bling in the form of a few rings make for the perfect accessories for this look. But no accessory complements the atmosphere better than a glass of Johnnie Walker.

Carpenter’s vibe screams Old Hollywood. In the same breath, however, the 26-year-old’s aesthetic makes me wonder if she could ever play a Bond girl. After all, she’s got everything—the charm, the allure, the beauty. Should there ever be a competition, Carpenter seemingly has a pretty fair shot at being among the top contenders.
Carpenter’s acting career
Before her career as a Grammy Award-winning artist blew up, she was known to most as an actress, starring in titles like Tall Girl, Sofia the First, Girl Meets World and many more. Even now, based on her drama-filled music videos and the many characters she plays, it’s clear that Carpenter’s acting bug is still somewhere inside of her.
Carpenter needs the role to check off all her boxes; however, she doesn’t want to be a part of a project that doesn’t feel like it brings something new to the industry. When viewing some scripts previously prevented from her, she expressed to Variety in a 2024 interview that “a lot of them sound like five other already released movies.”
Another requirement for her? She doesn’t want to be shoed into a less mature role. Her Disney days are long behind her.
“I’m 900 inappropriate jokes away from being a Disney actor, but people still see me that way,” Carpenter expressed. “I’m always extremely flattered to be grouped in with the other women and girls who I’ve idolized and looked up to who came from that, but I feel very distant from it.”
A huge step away from her past as a Disney star and something fresh and exciting? The role of a Bond girl could very well meet Carpenter’s expectations. Only time will tell if the multi-hyphenate will ever return to a film set. We sure hope so.
