Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are ringing in the holiday season with an extra sentimental milestone—their first as husband and wife. The 33-year-old Rare Beauty founder and 37-year-old music producer tied the knot on Sept. 27, and just over two months later, they gave their fanbase a sneak peek into how they are decorating their home for their inaugural Christmas as newlyweds.

“our first Christmas as a married couple 💒 🌲,” Gomez penned to Instagram with a six-slide post on Thursday, Dec. 4. Its cover slide exhibited a time-lapse clip of the duo hanging ornaments on a lit Christmas tree as Norah Jones’s “Christmas Don’t Be Late” played in the carousel’s background.

In consecutive snaps, the Bluest Flame singer gave her 416 million followers on the app a closer look at their tree’s decor, which included teal-colored bulbs and unique, miscellaneous ornaments, including a pickle jar and a shrimp cocktail.

Gomez recently chatted about life as a newlywed, calling the experience “such a dream so far,” in a Nov. 13 interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. “And I know it will come with ebbs and flows, but it’s the most beautiful person that I can do that with,” the singer shared.

Blanco also doesn’t shy away from his admiration for Gomez. In a February conversation with Interview Magazine, he gave a closer look into their relationship timeline, labeling their partnership as “easy” since the early days and revealing, “You know, when you think you met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh my god.’ But it feels so different. The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”

Following their nuptials, the couple has also embarked on a slew of adventures. They recently rounded out November on the sidelines of Crypto.com Arena to watch the Los Angeles Lakers host the New Orleans Pelicans. In October, the couple attended the Academy Museum Gala together in coordinated velvet ensembles, and, later that month, Blanco supported his wife at her Rare Impact Fund Benefit.

On their dynamic, Blanco also told the publication, “There’s no ego between us. She’s praying for me to win, and I’m praying for her to win.” And as the calendar turns to 2026, we’re manifesting a lot more ‘winning’ in the duo’s future.
