Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made all kinds of headlines this past year, and for good reason.

The pop sensation and Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s romance began when the former shared the story of how he hoped to meet Swift during his visit to the Eras Tour back in 2023 on his and his brother’s podcast, New Heights, to give her “a friendship bracelet with [his] number on it.” The story went viral, and—as fans learned while watching the recently released End of an Era docuseries—Swift’s mother quickly heard about it and went out of her way to learn about the football player with hopes of setting them up.

The plan to get the two together worked, and they began dating, with Kelce often spotted in the audience at her Eras Tour and Swift often spotted on the sidelines at Kelce’s games. In the two years since, the couple has been the source of many viral moments, and this year was no exception—in fact, it might be their most viral year yet.

So without further ado, here are just a handful of Swift and Kelce’s best moments from 2025:

When they attended the Tight End University together

Back in June, this stylish duo surprised everyone when they showed up looking as fashion-forward as ever for the 2025 Tight End University event. Swift’s gorgeous plaid green two-piece set was basically summertime personified, while Kelce’s laidback knit set was the perfect vibe match. Swift also took the surprise appearance a step further, hopping up on stage at one point to perform.

When Kelce shared a peek at their busy summer on Instagram

Despite being a public pair since 2023, the two didn’t make things Instagram official until this year, when Kelce posted an adorable photo set to his grid back in July. Showing a slice of their life as a couple, the caption for the drop—which read, “Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💯”—included an Easter egg for Swift’s lead single “The Fate of Ophelia” off of her 12th album The Life of a Showgirl, which was announced in August on Kelce’s podcast. When they announced The Life of a Showgirl on New Heights

In a mega-viral moment that sent Swifties into a tizzy, the superstar made a surprise appearance on Kelce’s podcast New Heights—which he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce—in August to announce her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl. This was a first for the artist, as the interview not only took fans inside the making of the album, but also her relationship with the Kelce family. The album was released in October and was Swift’s “biggest album” (to date).

And of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without their engagement announcement! The joint Instagram post all but broke the internet when the couple shared an intimate photo set of the sweet proposal back in August. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift humorously wrote in the caption.
