Physicist, actor and 2022 SI Swim Search finalist Manju Bangalore just issued an incredibly important reminder: women really can have it all.

On the first day of Women’s History Month, Bangalore shared a gorgeous image of herself in a bright orange bikini. The snapshot was captured by photographer Yu Tsai at the model’s Dominican Republic photo shoot last year. Bangalore posed in front of a gorgeous beach backdrop with one hand on her hip and the other resting on her thigh.

The Miss Oregon USA 2023 winner began her post by wishing her followers a happy Women’s History Month.

“As a physicist and aspiring astronaut, actor, 2022 @si_swimsuit finalist, and founder of @operationperiod, I want to remind other women that we truly are limitless and that we can do anything we set our mind to with the right resources, support, and care,” she continued.

Bangalore’s comment section was flooded with flame and red heart emojis.

The model, who is also the founder of two nonprofit organizations, Operation Period and Painting With Parkinson’s, told SI Swimsuit that she chose to throw her hat in the ring for the brand’s open casting call last year to represent her community of South Indian women.

She also discussed how she hopes to encourage other women to reach their dreams, which is perfectly aligned with her recent IG message of pushing past self-imposed limits.

“I’ve gotten hundreds of nos in my life, but it’s never stopped me from pursuing any of my careers,” she stated at the time. “And if I do one thing in this life, I want it to be reminding young women that we are limitless. Failure never has to define us.”
