Melissa Wood-Tepperberg has raised her daughter to stay calm, cool and collected, and sometimes her 4-year-old daughter reminds her mom how to do just that.

The 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie, who shares Elanor and her son, Benjamin, with husband Noah Tepperberg, captured a sweet mom-and-daughter moment on video.

“When you’ve lost your cool more times than you’d like to admit and your 4 year old tells you to pause, take a deep breath & pretty much chill the F out. 😶🙏🏼,” the 40-year-old captioned an Instagram post shared with her one million followers.

Elanor wore her pajamas and sat in her fitness guru mom’s lap and offered advice.

“Take a deep breath, blow it out,” Elanor said. “Count to five.”

Wood-Tepperberg counted slowly.

“Calm?” her daughter inquired with a smile.

“I feel more calm,” Wood-Tepperberg nodded. “Thank you.”

Elanor has clearly learned from the best. The MWH founder meditates every day and values her emotional and mental wellness. She has built her platform around promoting a healthy lifestyle and making fitness accessible to all.

“I want to be sharing this gift that I know is my life’s work,” she said. “What I started to realize when I found a meditation practice and I committed to it is that this work is not just about building this body that we desire in life. It’s about building this relationship with yourself, and I know that it starts in the mind. Meditation has really helped me slow down and to live in the present, to be present with every single thing that’s in front of me.”
