Hairstylist Adam Maclay is an expert when it comes to the beach wave. He proved as much on Oct. 11 when he teamed up with SI Swimsuit model Anne de Paula to craft the perfect textured, voluminous look.

While, admittedly, he “love[s] a good glam look,” Maclay recognized that we don’t always have the time to dedicate to a fabulous hairstyle. It’s “all about easy texture in life these days,” he said during the SI Swimsuit Amazon Live event on Oct. 11. Using de Paula’s beautiful long brown hair as his example, he crafted a look similar to those hairstyles that he had given the model during her photoshoots over the years with the brand.
