Angel Reese Serves Corpcore Chic Ahead of Newest WNBA Career Milestone

The Chicago Sky All-Star added another impressive feat to her growing list of WNBA accolades.

Angel Reese’s Tuesday night was historic, and she definitely dressed for the occasion.

Before the Chicago Sky’s matchup with the Phoenix Mercury on May 27, the All-Star forward arrived at PHX Arena in a striking all-white set. Pairing a structured blazer with straight-legged trousers and white closed-toe pumps, the basketball superstar and SI Swimsuit model was more than ready for the game. She accessorized the look with a statement necklace and matching white bag, both from Chanel.

But Reese’s fit wasn’t the only shining moment from game day. She notched 13 points and 15 rebounds, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach 500 points and 500 rebounds. Reese edged out Connecticut Sun center Tina Charles to accomplish the feat in 38 games, while Charles originally reached the milestone in 44 games.

“Let Her Cook 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie wrote on the WNBA’s Instagram feed.

“FIRST CLASS TICKET TO THE 500/500 CLUB FOR CHITOWN BARBIE 🎟️✈️,” the Chicago Sky posted, sharing their own graphic to honor Reese’s accomplishment.

Reese’s milestone extends upon her already stacked WNBA résumé with only one full season in the books for the 23-year-old. In 2024, she became the league’s all-time leader in consecutive double-doubles (15) and cemented her spot in the Sky’s record books for most offensive rebounds in a single season (120), previously held by Sylvia Fowles (117).

“She is an absolutely relentless competitor,” Sky General Manager Jeff Pagliocca declared in 2024. “She pursues the ball better than anybody I’ve ever seen. She’s a winner.”

Less than 24 hours later, Reese’s reign continued. On Wednesday morning, fans of the baller were gifted a brand new first look at her signature logo with Reebok. The logo debuts seven months after the athlete signed a multi-year contract extension with the athletic apparel brand.

“Featuring a bold icy color palette and expressive design details that pay tribute to Angel’s unapologetic style,” the collection was “inspired by [Reese’s] powerful energy,” according to Reebok.

While eager buyers will need to wait for an official sneaker to release, the logo announcement has sparked anticipatory chatter on social media, even from Reese herself.

“LOGO SO FIRE! 🔥,” Reese posted to X. “LOVE LOVE LOVE 💙.”

On the joint Instagram post between Reebok and Reese, fans were ready to get their hands on the partnership’s newest merchandise.

“Drop it!!!” One commenter wrote.

“I''ll take two please,” another user concurred. “If Angel’s name is on it I want it.”
