Angel Reese Brings Signature Style to NBA Sidelines While Supporting Brother Julian Reese

While we’ve spotted Angel Reese on the sidelines of Orlando’s Kia Center numerous times throughout the 2025-26 NBA season—as the Chicago Sky forward has been rumored to be in a relationship with Magic forward Wendell Carter Jr. since May of 2025—she rooted for the away team at the Sunshine State stadium on Tuesday night.
The 32-28 Magic, who currently sit in seventh place in the Eastern Conference at the time of this article’s publication, hosted the Washington Wizards during their March 3 matchup. Reese’s younger brother, Julian Reese, signed a two-way contract with the 16-45 squad on Feb. 28, after notching 38 games with the G League’s Raptors 905. The Reese siblings both hail from Baltimore, Maryland, making the move extra sweet, the WNBA star declared on the sidelines of yesterday’s matchup.

“He’s gonna bring that passion. I mean, he plays really hard, he’s really strong [...] I’m really happy for him. I was so emotional when I found out. I was crying so hard like I just hit the lottery,” she declared in a court-side interview, shared by the NBA to X (previously Twitter) that same night.
She prefaced the sentiment by sharing some details behind her game-day ‘fit, which featured her brother’s jersey over a white, collard long-sleeve shirt and a pair of camo cargo shorts. The 23-year-old completed the look with a designer handbag and a pair of Timberland boots.
“As soon as I heard that he was gonna be on the team, I was like, I need a jersey, especially if you guys are coming to Orlando,” Angel continued. “I usually cheer for Orlando, but tonight I’m cheering for the DC.”
My baby brother🥺Ugh I’m so proud of you! Your journey has never been easy & you’ve always stayed the course! Let’s go Juju! 🥳🙏🏽 @Reese10Julian https://t.co/6b6OloTHeo

Julian secured his second start for the Wizards in his second matchup with the Eastern Conference team, who currently sit 13th in conference standings. The 6-foot-9 forward tallied 33 minutes and a near triple-double with nine points and eight rebounds, although the Magic ultimately bested the Wizards, 126-109.
However, the 22-year-old’s career in Washington has only begun to blossom, and he said he is prepared to give the program all he has. “Signing that contract felt great,” Julian stated per the University of Maryland, the baller’s alma mater. “It was crazy. My agent called me and told me the Wizards wanted to give me an opportunity, and it was this great, happy feeling. It still kinda doesn’t feel real. I’m so grateful and ready to maximize my opportunities.”
