Ashley Graham Brings Fans Behind the Scenes of Rainy Day Photo Shoot With Designer Brand

Ashley Graham pulled back the curtain behind her latest New York City photo shoot with designer footwear and accessory label Stuart Weitzman, and told her 21 million Instagram followers that there’s more than what meets the eye when it comes to her final collection of images.
“Stylists drying raindrops off my shoes. PA’s juggling umbrellas and call times. Heaters just out of frame so I’m not freezing,” the 38-year-old model and mother of three penned to her feed underneath 19 slides on set in the Big Apple.
The carousel consisted of black and white images of the multihyphenate lounging on concrete sidewalks, kicking her feet up on cobblestone roads and taking a stroll in the park, among other locations. In its mix were playful videos of Graham, who showcased a slew of smiles on location despite the rainy weather.
“Shooting in New York in the rain for the Spring ’26 collection may look effortless in the final images—but it never is. Shoots don’t just happen. They’re built,” she continued in the post’s lengthy note. “And there’s more to it than the pictures. Being a curvy woman in luxury spaces still feels layered. Fashion shifts quickly. Bodies like mine can be celebrated one minute and pushed aside the next.”
Before adding a hashtag that read, “#swpartner”, the model concluded, “So being here—visible, styled, unapologetic—matters. It’s never just about the shoe or the shade. It’s about who gets to take up space. Thank you [Stuart Weitzman] for making space.”

Like Graham, who shared the note and her plethora of frames earlier today, March 3, Stuart Weitzman also debuted a number of images from shoot day to their 2.1 million following on the app, as well. All six snapshots, for the label’s “Concrete Paradise” campaign, were captured both in and outside of a bookstore as the model posed in a collared ivory maxi dress with a chic slit on its side. She also sported a pair of warm-toned sunglasses to match her footwear from the label.
Per the brand’s post, Graham displayed Stuart Weitzman’s “Vinnie Wedge Mule Slide 85” in its Dark Brown Tortoise shade, which currently retails for $525. The heeled shoe also comes in five additional colorways and is currently available on its site, ranging from women’s size 4 to 12.
