The Italian model put an unexpected, yet simple spin on French tips, and it’s inspiring us to do the same.

French tips have always been a way to meaningfully elevate your nail appearance, while also ensuring a versatile look that will match just about any outfit. We had never thought to make any sort of alterations to the classic design until we saw Italian model Bianca Balti’s most recent Instagram post.

The 39-year-old model shared a carousel of photos to her Instagram on Sept. 6 featuring the darling French tip pedicure. The fun variation on the classic look featured the typical white tips, but with the added flair of a simple white dot near the base of her nails. On her big toes, the model added a tiny silver gem to the white dot, elevating the simple look even further.

Balti’s chic nail choice complemented her metallic silver strappy, diamond-encrusted heels nicely. The simple touch was not something that we would have thought of on our own, but now that the model has put it on our radar, we can’t get over it.

When trying to achieve a versatile nail, it can be easy to go for a nude glossy look or a classic French tip and forget about any added flair. While there are times that certainly call for simplicity, we believe that Balti has it right—you can’t go wrong with a little variation to the typical classic manicures and pedicures. So if you’re looking for your perfect fall nail design, consider following Balti’s lead and adding your own spin to an otherwise classic look.
