Fashion month may be over, but our favorite models are continuing to step out in their best looks, no matter the occasion. And, with fall weather in full swing, the fashion has followed suit, with many embracing their best cozy seasonal dress. The cool temperatures call for knits, denim, leather and your best boots, as American model Christen Harper knows all too well.

On her recent trip to Tokyo, the California native stepped out in her best moody, monochromatic ‘fit—and served the perfect example of a seasonal all-black look. She paired her black washed denim with a fitted cardigan and slightly oversized leather button-up. Harper then accessorized with a complementary black slouchy handbag.

“Tokyo nights 🏮," she captioned the series of scenes she shared to her Instagram from her evenings out in the Japanese capital. Alongside her dark look, she sported a face of natural makeup and wore her dark brown hair in a soft wave.

While we’ve admitted to adding a pop of color to our ‘fits (especially in the moodier fall and winter months), we recognize that there is always a time and place for donning your best monochromatic neutrals and taking to the city streets. And, with Halloween coming up, an all-black outfit does feel just right.

So, for those moments that you feel called to deck yourself out in your moodiest garments, look no further than Harper’s Tokyo fashion for inspiration. As always, she didn’t disappoint.
