Ciara, Emily Ratajkowski Went Sheer for ‘Vanity Fair’ Oscars After-Party

These ladies really took the naked dress trend to the next level.

While the 95th annual Academy Awards was the main event in Hollywood on Sunday night, A-list stars put forth just as much effort when it came to their various after-party looks.

Two women in particular who caught our attention? Ciara and Emily Ratajkowski, who both rocked sheer gowns at Vanity Fair’s post-ceremony event, held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on March 12.

The “Better Thangs” singer embraced the naked dress trend to the extreme. Ciara wore a crystal-embellished net dress by Peter Dundas with nothing but a black thong underneath. She accessorized with a dramatic pair of over-the-elbow black opera gloves and a pair of strappy heels.

She showed off her risqué outfit on Instagram the next day, writing in her caption, “Oscar Nights ✨.”

The OAM founder wore her hair in a sleek bob and went with a smokey eye for glam. Ciara credited her team with the bold look, including stylist Mariel Haenn, makeup artist Yolonda Frederick and hairdresser Tiger. 

“There she is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍,” La La Anthony exclaimed in the comments.

“OH YOU ATE 😍😍😍,” added Xiarra-Diamond Nimrod.

Two-time SI Swimsuit model Emily Ratajkowski also turned heads at the event with a similarly-daring ensemble. The My Body author showed off her figure—and her nude-colored thong—in a glittery number from Feben’s fall-winter 2023 collection. 

While the floor-length mesh gown also featured long sleeves, it left little to the imagination as two lace-up tie details across the model’s chest were the only things covering her bust. Hairstylist Jennifer Yepez styled Ratajkowski’s chestnut locks in a high bun, while makeup artist Linda Hay opted for a super smokey eye.

Ratajkowski also shared her outfit on Instagram the day after the party.

“This look,” Alexis Ren said simply.

“Gorgeous,” added Karen Elson.
