Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber’s Weekend ‘Date’ is Deemed ‘Mother Daughter Goals’

Dressed in complementary Gucci gowns, Cindy Crawford and her daughter, Kaia Gerber, arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for its LACMA Art+Film Gala on Saturday night, looking like art themselves.
The Nov. 1 event in the City of Angels brought out a plethora of media moguls including honorees Ryan Coogler and Mary Corse, cochairs Leonardo DiCaprio and Eva Chow, and award-winning attendees such as Angela Bassett, Cynthia Erivo and Demi Moore, among others.
Among the exclusive guest list was Crawford and Gerber, who smiled alongside each other for a handful of photos during their night out. Crawford showcased an off-the-shoulder short sleeve gown from Gucci with beaded embellishments that draped along the floor-length garment. To match, the renowned supermodel added drop earrings and a watch, both featuring the same colored hardware.
Gerber’s look exuded the same star power as her mother’s ensemble. The model and actress—whose on-screen appearances include movies Shell and Bottoms, along with the Apple TV series Palm Royale, among others—repped a skin-tight sequin gown in a cherry red shade. She paired the reflective gown with silver drop earrings, a duo of arm cuffs and a number of rings.
Both Crawford and Gerber gushed over their night out together, and gave their combined 18 million Instagram followers a glimpse of their weekend outing. Crawford debuted the first carousel to the app, with three slides of the pair posing together, and two solo shots of the longtime industry tycoon. “Last night @lacma Art and Film Gala with one of my favorite dates,” the 59-year-old penned in the post’s caption, tagging Gerber and coupling the sentiment with a single red heart.
“❤️❤️❤️ mother daughter goals 🔥🔥🔥,” one fan commented on the model’s post.
“Beautiful ladies❤️,” another user declared.
“Two generations of strong, gorgeous women ❤️✨,” a commenter wrote.
Then, Gerber, 24, followed up on her own feed. With her hair in old Hollywood-reminiscent waves, styled by Bryce Scarlett, she gazed past the camera lens for the post’s cover image—which seems to have been taken before she arrived on location. Her glam, completed by makeup artist Nina Park, featured a subtle base, dramatic eyes and carved brows. As for her own caption, Gerber echoed a similar message to her mother, calling Crawford “the hottest date.”
