Coco Gauff’s summertime snaps from the Sunshine State are the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the tennis star. Sharing 18 frames to her Instagram feed with Sade’s “Paradise” playing in the background, Gauff gave her 2 million followers a look into her Floridian summer.

“just a floridian pisces in her natural habitat,” the athlete captioned her post, accompanied by two fitting emojis: a mermaid and sparkles. For its cover image, Gauff wore an earth-toned halter bikini while perched alongside a waterfront cove. With luscious greenery framing her pose, the 21-year-old embodied serenity, and her fanbase thought so as well.

“Feeling all this my piscean sister! Pure medicine for our soul!” One commenter wrote.

“So glad you’re taking time to rest, relax and rejuvenate yourself! ❤️😍🔥,” a fan exclaimed.

“You look like you are truly enjoying yourself!,” another user penned. “Keep it up queen!!”

In fact, Gauff’s plethora of snaps—featuring underwater wildlife, seaside lounging and open road drives—showed the tennis player in her element. The Delray Beach native calls Florida home and honored her community with a special signature shoe from New Balance back in March.

Named the Coco Delray Gauff’s sneaker is a testament to her upbringing, which she credits for her love of the game and growth in the sport. “Delray Beach helped spark my tennis journey, so it’s special to me to tell the story of this community that influenced exactly why I love this sport,” the athlete stated.

But it’s not just Gauff’s athletic success that is credited to Delray Beach. The athlete also uses the shoe to pay homage to the people who have helped her shape her character.

“The care that I was raised in and this community is why I want to make sure everything that I do is a reflection of who I am,” Gauff explained. “The first thing they see when y’all see I play, it says ‘Coco Gauff from Delray Beach, Florida,’ so I got to make sure I represent it right.”

As her game continues to skyrocket at the domestic and international levels—Gauff was a flag bearer while representing the United States in the most recent Olympic Games in Paris alongside LeBron James—so does her impact.

“It’s more than just a tennis shoe,” she said. “It represents an opportunity to broaden access to those interested in playing the game and will have a positive cultural impact for generations to come.”
