Demi Lovato’s Fall 2023 Aesthetic Is Clearly All About Long, Dark Jackets

The singer-actress has been spotted in floor-skimming outerwear on numerous occasions lately.

From fashion week events to everyday street style, celebrities and influencers are displaying their best autumnal looks lately, and we’re loving all of the resulting style inspo.

We noticed that singer-actress Demi Lovato has been gravitating toward one particular type of outerwear so far this season: long, dark jackets in a variety of textures. In fact, she shared pics to her Instagram three days in a row in which she sported variations on the seasonal style.

Her Sept. 21 IG carousel began with a stunning snapshot of the “Cool for the Summer” singer clad in a moody maroon leather jacket, which she wore over a distressed black top and trio of belts. Lovato chose to accent the color of her long outerwear with bright red eyeshadow.

The following day, the 31-year-old showed off her floor-length black leather Hugo Boss trench while in Milan, Italy. Lovato was photographed as she stood outside of a car and against a white curtain backdrop.

“Fashion icon 🔥,” one of her 157 million followers exclaimed in the comments section.

“I’M SPEECHLESS 😮‍💨❤️‍🔥,” someone else added.

Lovato attended the Hugo Boss runway show during Paris Fashion Week that day, and shared her ensemble from the designer event to Instagram on Sept. 23. This time, she adopted a rich chocolate color palette, featuring yet another floor-skimming jacket. She paired the silky-looking ensemble with high-waisted trousers in the same shade and texture, and wore the jacket open to reveal a black bra underneath.

We’re not the only ones who are totally taken with Lovato’s outfits of late. “i’m obsessed with this entire look! 😍,” a fan commented, while another person noted, “THE BOSS IS SLAYING.”

So, whether classic black leather or a trendy brown material with a hint of sheen, reach for floor-length outerwear this season to stay warm while channeling Lovato’s cool girl vibes.
