Dua Lipa Rocks All-Black Ensemble Featuring Unexpected Item for Night Out

The Big Apple better be ready, because pop princess Dua Lipa has officially landed—and she kicked off this stop on the tour with a seriously stylish Instagram photo drop.

Lipa’s latest look included a refreshing take on all-black fashion. She began her outfit with a black long-sleeve top featuring a black fur trim that gave a dramatic vibe. She then paired the top with black leather shorts and a belt, which had gold finishes throughout for a nice pop of color.

The real show-stopper for this look, however, has to be Lipa’s black satin balconette bra. Not many can pull off an item like this without breaking a sweat, but this artist brought glamour to the undergarment in a way that no one could deny is absolutely stylish and sensational.

As for her accessories, the singer-songwriter adores a pair of transparent tights, often using this item to elevate her look, which is why she pulled them out again. Hoop earrings were also a tried-and-true addition. As for her hair, she packed her tresses into a slicked-back ponytail that screamed “cool girl energy.”

While her 88 million Instagram followers were living for this look, it’s one that she kept for attendees of Mark Ronson’s evening event. Nonetheless, Lipa hit up Madison Square Garden in ensembles her followers may have seen before but are still just as fabulous as ever, no matter how many times she wears them. Her Radical Optimism tour has seen a plethora of staples, all thanks to her remarkable team that brings the vision to life.

Lorenzo Posocco—the visionary behind Lipa’s wardrobe on the Radical Optimism tour—desired to make a closet for Lipa that was reflective of what her latest album and tour were trying to say. Allowing the pop star to dance the night away while feeling confident and empowered was the key to her looks being perfect.

“The show is a mix of bangers from previous albums and new hits, so I had to find a balance between the past and the present,” he shared with Vogue. “It’s still ‘fun’, of course, but from a different perspective. Radical Optimism, to me, is a declaration of independence and self-worth. Dua’s a strong woman, bold, confident and not afraid to take risks, and all the looks are a celebration of that.”
