Emily Blunt Is the Latest Celeb to Rock This Trending Fall Color on the Red Carpet

Emily Blunt is a fashionista the world better not sleep on, especially during the press tour for her upcoming film, The Smashing Machine. The English actress has debuted some outstanding outfits so far, including her most recent look for the special screening of the 2025 title at the Odeon Luxe West End.
Blunt arrived at the London premiere wearing a dark cocoa mini dress. The long sleeves of the piece gave it an autumn feel, as did the collar, which extended to the middle of her neck. The fact that the length stopped just before the knees was an aspect to admire about the outfit, as this length allowed it to be both fun and flirty. For the grand finale, the dress left the red carpet with a gorgeous train, basically making “opulent” Blunt's middle name.
Rather than leave her legs bare, Blunt opted for a pair of dark brown (bordering on burgundy) tights with dainty polka dots throughout, a stellar choice to spruce everything up. The rest of her accessories were also praiseworthy. Her open-toed shoes of the same pigment were to die for, as they made the monochrome outfit that much more fashion-forward.
But her incredible outfits aren’t the only things that she wants the world to know about. Of course, Blunt wants the world to also know about all the hard work her co-star Dwayne Johnson put into bringing this role to life. Rooting for him, she believes Johnson finally got a chance to explore the fullness of his capabilities in this role.
“I think this has been life-changing for him,” the 42-year-old expressed. “This is a man who’s never allowed to disappear, and it’s so moving for me as his friend, and as an actor, to watch someone discover what they’re capable of.”
Johnson plays the role of Mark Kerr: a MMA fighter who desires to be the very best on the mat. His wins and losses, his highs and lows and just about everything in between are left behind when he walks on the stage, ready to dominate his opponent. His journey is far from easy, but with his eyes set on the prize and with his wife, Dawn (played by Blunt), by his side, there’s not much that stands in the way of his greatness.
“I’ve always felt this about Dwayne: there’s this well of life experience and pain and struggle and resilience and mental fortitude and deep vulnerability that has never been given space to come out,” Blunt continued. “It must be heavy being The Rock; everyone thinks it must be pretty great, but I think it must be heavy, too—and quite a lot to uphold that infrastructure.”
The Smashing Machine starring Blunt and Johnson officially arrives in theaters on Friday, Oct. 3.
