Emily DiDonato Continues to Fuel Our Fall Fashion Mood Board in Leather and Layers

Emily DiDonato is the queen of fall fashion, and her latest look is a love letter to layering. The six-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model shared her newest street style moment from a sunny yet brisk afternoon in New York City, proving once again that transitional dressing doesn’t have to mean sacrificing polish.

The 34-year-old started with a perfect foundation: a crisp Ribbed Baby T-Shirt ($35) from Banana Republic featuring a high neckline and soft ribbed fabric that fits close to the body without clinging. She paired it with WARDROBE.NYC Boyfriend Jeans ($400), a mid-rise, vintage-inspired pair cut from rigid indigo denim with contrast topstitching. The slouchy fit gave her look a relaxed, downtown edge.

On top, DiDonato added major texture. She layered the Bronwen Top in Crinkled Plaid ($1,090) by Proenza Schouler, a slim-tailored button-up with a softly wrinkled finish, then threw on The Frankie Shop’s Prescott Oversized Jacket ($645) in a rich brown hue. The bomber’s slightly boxy shape, welt pockets and elasticated trim hit an ideal blend of structured and slouchy.

She finished the look with Khaite Nevada Leather Ankle Boots ($1,680), a sleek, square-toe pair handmade in Italy, and a white shoulder bag. Oversized brown sunglasses, dainty gold earrings and stacked rings added just the right amount of shine.
