As the cold winter months loom, we’re all about finding skincare hacks to help our complexions stay hydrated while fighting the seasonal chill. However, Model Emily DiDonato just shared an excellent hack that actually embraces the dipping temperatures.

“To the girl with the slick back who told me to keep my under eye patches in the car in the colder months, you were a real one for sharing this hack, because dare I say it, this little ritual, I borderline almost look forward to getting into my freezing cold car every single morning because I have this little moment to look forward to,” she stated in her reel. “So you were a real one for that, this is a genius skincare hack for the winter. Thank you so much, I will be doing this every single day from this day forward.”

“Love this silly little hack @girlwiththeslickback,” DiDonato wrote in her caption, while also crediting the creator who originated the idea, Meg McLaughlin.

Several of DiDonato’s 2.8 million followers chimed in to the comments section to share their excitement over the hack.

“I love this idea!” one person wrote. “And the thought of it already makes my commute feel brighter! ❤️.”

“Genius,” another user declared.

“Watching this, I’ve realised I’ve been wearing my eye patches the wrong way round 👀,” someone else noted

“I keep mine in the fridge! Game changer!” one person shared, which is a great alternative for those who live in warmer climates.
