When you think “fashion week,” sleek runway shows, chic outfits and red carpet events likely spring to mind. However, there are certainly more unglamorous aspects of the high-fashion occasions, which actress Eva Mendes was not to shy to share on Instagram earlier this week.

After attending the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Fashion Week, the 49-year-old actress shared what really goes on behind the scenes afterwards. While seated in the back seat of a car, Mendes began shedding pieces of her outfit, including over-the-elbow animal print opera gloves and a pair of shiny leather boots. She then proceeded to lift up the black veil of her ensemble to scarf down a banana. “Wild and crazy,” she quipped as she ate.

Plenty of the 2 Fast 2 Furious star’s six million followers on the platform appreciated her candor and chimed in to the comments section.

“Love you!” a fan gushed. “You’re as real as they come!”

“I want to be you when I grow up ✨,” one person noted.

“Such a fun girls night! Dolce, italia and a good ole banana,” someone else added. “What more can a girl ask for 🥰.”

“The bird cage hair piece is everything. 🔥,” an additional follower stated of Mendes’s hair accessory.

“I carry a banana 🍌 everywhere too lol 😂 love it! Latinas,” another user stated.

At the very beginning of the clip, Mendes held the banana up to her ear like a phone and quipped “It’s Ryan.” She and Barbie actor Ryan Gosling have been together since 2011 and share two daughters.
