Australian model Georgina Burke is on a mission to highlight and bring attention to size-inclusive brands from her home country. As someone who struggled with conforming to typical, unrealistic beauty standards and was told to drop sizes when she first entered the industry, the 2023 SI Swimsuit model prioritizes diversity and inclusion for all.

“I always get hit up with, ‘What is advice you want to give somebody younger?’ It’s not just for the young ones, it’s even for women my age,” she said in an IMG Models video. “The modeling world is an incredible world, don’t get me wrong. I’ve traveled the world and met so many incredible people. But you do need to come at it with a thick skin. You are going to get rejected, especially being a woman of size. I’ve had so many doors closed in my face. It’s lucky that I can still stand and want to be here.”

The Burke NYC founder shared a stunning Instagram post of herself in a gorgeous and unique black one-shoulder asymmetrical gown from Aje.

“Over the @si_swimsuit launch weekend I wanted to only showcase Australian brands… highlight brands who not only cater a diverse range of sizes but create gorgeous clothing with that in mind. @_aje_ does that! @ajenorris thank you ♥️,” the Burke wrote.

She shared another IG carousel of black-and-white pics taken while she was getting glammed up by hairstylist Marcelino Gonzalez, who slicked her blonde locks back into a tightly wrapped ponytail, and makeup artist Jessica Chan.

“Serving up all these looks! Guess what I didn’t struggle this year to find clothes that fit!!! Everything I’m wearing is available in my size this particular brand @_aje_ goes up to a 3xl ♥️ 📷 ,” Burke wrote, and tagged photographer Grant Friedman.
