Model Kate Upton and her husband, MLB pitcher Justin Verlander, have been enjoying a European vacation of late, and the SI Swimsuit star has been sharing several snippets along the way with her social media followers.

On Jan. 12, the 31-year-old mom of one posted an Instagram carousel of photographs with her 40-year-old husband as they explored London. She shared an adorable snap of the power couple posing in front of Big Ben, but we were particularly taken with Upton’s model-off-duty street style, which she displayed in the first photo. In it, the former SI Swimsuit Issue cover model perched her foot up as she adjusted her lug-soled black combat boot. She paired her chic footwear with light-wash denim and a navy coat, and accessorized with a black handbag and pair of sunglasses.

And while we typically opt for a sensible pair of sneakers while exploring a new city, we’re apt to take Upton’s lead and purchase a new pair of combat boots for our next trip across town (whether in London or otherwise).

Originally $59.95, snag these American Eagle boots while they’re on sale to save 60% off the original price. Also available in khaki, the dark color is certainly similar to the footwear Upton sported in her Instagram post. The lugged sole detail makes these typical combat boots modern, while they feature a side zipper for getting them on and off easily. As for styling, just look to Upton for inspiration.
