With Halloween only a few days away, we’re going to assume that most people have their costumes at the ready. But, just in case you’re floundering a bit and are still trying to come up with the perfect, low-effort idea to don for that party coming up more quickly than you had expected, never fear.

If that’s the case, American model Hunter McGrady is here to provide just a touch of fabulous inspo. In a recent TikTok clip, the 30-year-old shared a “get ready with me,” featuring her dreamy pink last-minute Halloween glam. Though she didn’t reveal her whole outfit, the incredible makeup was enough to get our costume ideas flowing.

The hot pink look was fit for a fairy or a princess—or whatever costume that you want to elevate with your best Barbiecore-inspired glam. Here is McGrady’s process.

Apply an everyday base

She began with a nice, everyday bronzed base, applying her typical products for a glowy complexion.

Add hot pink blush to cheeks

To that, McGrady added a lot of hot pink blush on her cheeks, using her fingers to blend it into her base makeup.

Apply eye shadow

She then applied a deeper pink shade to her eyelids and the skin underneath her eyes.

Use highlight

Using a vibrant, shimmery highlighter, she added a sheen to her cheekbones and to the bridge of her nose.

Line the lips

She lined her lips—of course—with a deep pink liner. After blending the color a bit into her lips, McGrady added a bit of the same highlighter to both her top and bottom lips, achieving the perfect level of shine.

Rather than coming up with your costume first, perhaps focus on a bright face of glam and let the outfit follow.
