Ilona Maher Shares Qualities of Her ‘Ideal Man’ in Humorous Video

With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, Ilona Maher is letting fans know the type of man she’s looking for.

Over the weekend, the Olympic medalist and Dancing With the Stars Season 33 runner-up took to Instagram in a fabulous, fashion-forward ensemble, sharing a humorous list of very specific attributes she hopes her future partner possesses with her 5.4 million followers.

In the short clip, Maher sported a beautiful navy blue mini dress with a high neckline and daring cutouts on one side, creating a unique wrapped look with playful peeks of skin. Crediting stylist Margot Zamet in the caption of a separate photo carousel showcasing the look, she accessorized the sleek night-out outfit with a single silver bangle bracelet and several rings. Her long brunette tresses were left down, styled in gentle curls and parted to the side for extra volume. Her makeup was equally glamorous, with Maher opting for a matte base and a pretty pink lip.

Captioning the clip, “For anyone wondering,” the athlete stood in what appeared to be a hotel room, directly in front of the camera, basking in golden-hour sunlight from a nearby window. She mouthed along to a viral sound, which proclaimed, “My ideal man doesn’t play the drums, doesn’t stay late at the bar, does what he says and says what he does. Does not get a fancy lawyer that the other person can’t afford if things get weird.”

Maher has long been both open and playful when discussing her dating life. For instance, when asked about her relationship status by Access Hollywood while still competing on Dancing With the Stars, she candidly told the outlet, “[Dating life] for sure could be better. Here’s the thing: all I do is dance, I eat, I go home and sleep ... I’m driving home on a Friday night, everyone’s out having fun—not me. I’m going through the jazz steps in my head. It could be better, but honestly, I’m really focused on this right now, and as they say, it will happen when it’s supposed to happen.”
