Ilona Maher doesn’t play by the rules. The trendsetter sets herself apart time and time again, and most recently, she broke a major fashion rule but looked absolutely flawless while doing so.

Sure, wearing white after Labor Day is a bold move. However, if this Olympian is putting her stamp of approval on the look, then breaking the rules is certainly permissible for a day of slay. After all, Maher looked like a daydream in her sporty and chic white Adidas ensemble, which she posted to Instagram on Monday. Her top was incredibly chic, especially with the inclusion of a gold zipper going down the middle. The matching bottoms came together to make for a great set to wear on those days when stylish sets are the vibe.

Her soft glam was equally incredible. The neutral tone of her eyeshadow was pretty and fabulous, and Maher's dramatic eyelashes worked well with the pigment. What's more, her naturally rosy lip gave her makeup look an extra edge that is both charming and sweet.

This isn’t the first time the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and Adidas have come together to create a fire duo. Earlier this year, Maher sat down with the apparel brand to discuss her personal style.

“I love fashion,“ Maher expressed. “I think I love to express myself in so many ways. I think I can style myself, but I also love stylists. Even Adidas, they’ll sometimes put the outfit together and I’m like ‘That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.’"

She continued, “People sometimes have an eye for it. I love people creating things for me because there’s sometimes things I wouldn’t even think to try.”

Maher also touched on how much she loves the skin that she’s in. She understands that by embracing her body, she can help others do the same.

“I think what my body has done for me—I’m so proud of it,” Maher stated. “If girls can see it and see a body type like theirs and [think] like, ‘Wow, look at her doing that. Maybe I can do that or feel comfortable in that.’”

Maher knows the importance of looking good and feeling good, which is why her latest snaps check both boxes.
