Naomi Osaka has touched down in Abu Dhabi. Today, the Japanese professional tennis player officially began play in her third tournament of the 2024 season (and her third since taking maternity leave from the game in late 2022). Joining a field that includes top players like Ons Jabeur and Elena Rybakina, Osaka took on American pro Danielle Collins in the Round of 32 of the Abu Dhabi Open. The four-time Grand Slam ultimately fell to the American player in straight sets.

But before she even set foot on the court, the 26-year-old had to acquaint herself with the city. And, of course, she had to do it in style. Osaka went for a nighttime stroll around the glittering coastal city in a green-and-white striped dress with a fitted bodice and a full skirt. In classic Osaka fashion, she opted to pair the elegant number with a pair of black-and-white Nikes, giving the whole outfit a cool street style air. She accessorized with a white Louis Vuitton handbag with brown trim and colorful logos adorning the exterior.

“jet lag is making life a blur 🖼️,” she aptly captioned the carousel of photos, which included several blurry snaps of her strolling around the palm tree-ladened city.

“slaying hard,” one of her followers wrote of the incredible show of street style.

“You look stunningggg,” another complimented Osaka.

She’s already proven herself a force to be reckoned with on the court, but Osaka doesn’t stop there. With her sense of street style, the athlete turns heads off the court as well.
