While many celebrities have shared their interpretation of the trendy mob wife aesthetic in recent weeks, perhaps none have done so quite as elegantly as Jennifer Lopez.

The singer-songwriter showed off her take on the style in a Feb. 27 Instagram post, which featured layer upon layer of chocolate brown in various textures and tones. While a floor-length fur jacket was integral to the style, Lopez also opted for a dark brown leather top and a camel-colored midi skirt. She accessorized with pointed-toe heels in yet another shade of brown, and held a dark brown purse in one hand. Overall, the ensemble was a lesson in monochromatic, ladylike dressing.

Stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn are to thank for the incredible look, along with the 54-year-old actress’s glam team, including hairstylist Irinel de León and makeup artist Mary Phillips. The “Can’t Get Enough” singer opted for waves in her caramel-brown locks, while her makeup included subtle brown eyeshadow, flirty lashes, shimmery highlight and a soft pink lip.

While many of Lopez’s 253 million followers expressed concern over the possibility of her wearing real fur in the comments section, others chimed in to hype the mom of two up.

“Obsessed with this entire look 🤎,” one fan wrote.

“You’re literally perfection 🔥,” someone else gushed.

“Face card 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” another user stated.

In her own Instagram post, Haenn deemed the look “butter pecan,” which we think is an apt way to describe Lopez’s outfit. We can’t wait to see what she and her team come up with next.
