Jessica Aidi Adopts a Moodier Alternative to the Color of the Season, and We’re Following Suit

The French model opted for a shade that has a touch more edge while in Paris.

Red is the color of the fall, that much was declared long ago by the powers that be in the fashion world. And though red is likewise a typical shade to wear during the holiday season, we’re starting to think that the coming of winter weather deserves something just a little bit edgier than the bright vibrant tones of fall.

Model Jessica Aidi seems to agree. Rather than opting for a bright shade of red for a recent appearance at a BOSS event, she took a moodier approach to her fashion.

The France native wore an oversized suit—a style absolutely perfect for the holiday season—that included a pair of wide-leg pants and a plunging tie-front blazer. Both pieces came in a deep burgundy tone, a cousin, if you will, of bright seasonal red. The model paired the deep-toned look with a series of delicate diamond jewelry, including a pair of hoop earrings and a few necklaces.

“Best Night with @boss family 🖤 #BeYourOwnBoss,” she captioned a stunning series of photos that she shared on her Instagram. The carousel included some solo snaps of Aidi, highlighting her excellent fashion sense and the beautiful Parisian skyline beyond.

While her outfit was incredible, we think what really completed the look was the complementary burgundy lipstick and the slicked-back hairdo she sported. As a whole, her style (makeup and all) was the definition of ultra-sleek, with just the perfect touch of edginess. We totally approve.
