In the midst of her senior season with the University of California Los Angles (UCLA) gymnastics team, Jordan Chiles took to Instagram to showcase a monochromatic ’fit that caught our eye—and the attention of more Olympic medal-winning athletes.

In the four-slide carousel, Chiles donned a cropped zip-up jacket, paired with skin-tight micro shorts and sheer black tights. She finished her outfit with opaque onyx sunglasses and black shoes, which mirrored the style of a ballet slipper. Her footwear wrapped around her ankle and featured a mini matching bow. “Let me remind you……” the athlete penned as the post’s caption.

Fellow athletes flood Chiles’s comments

“Reminded. Thank you. 🙏🏻,” Olympic bronze medalist Ilona Maher wrote under Chiles’s group of frames.

Sha’Carri Richardson, who has one gold and one silver Olympic medal of her own, added. “💖💖💖,”

“Excuse me MAM 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” gushed gold medal-winning soccer star Sydney Leroux.

“yes hair,” Chiles’s Olympic teammate Suni Lee penned, in reference to the athlete’s long, layered style. The fellow gymnast has notched six total medals at the global games: two gold, one silver and three bronze.

Chiles has competed in two Olympic games herself. She made her debut the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, before heading to Paris in 2024. The 24-year-old scored her first medal in Tokyo, a silver with the USA Women's Team, and notched her first gold in Paris.

When it comes to being “that girl,” which parallels the name of her 2025 memoir, I'm That Girl: Living The Power of My Dreams, Chiles continues to embrace endeavors outside of her sport. One of those recent avenues was on Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, where the athlete and her professional partner, Ezra Sosa, placed third in the competition.

In an interview with Olympics Gymnastics in 2024, Chiles declared,“You guys want to know what my motto is this year? My motto is, ‘I’m that girl,’ because I feel like I’ve proved enough to this world that I feel like I don't have to express a lot. I don’t have to, you know, change anything, and I can just be authentic to who I want to be.” She continued of her attiude, which still rings true today, “And if you don’t like it, you don’t like it. If you don’t want to ride with me, you don’t have to ride with me.”
