Living in Miami, winter layering is pretty much a moot point. In winter, the temperature rarely drops out of the seventies, which in any other location would simply be considered summer weather.

For model Kate Bock, who spends much of her time in the state of Florida with her husband, Miami Heat forward Kevin Love, winter layering could very well have become a forgotten art. She doesn’t have to worry about what most of us think of as winter dressing on the daily during the colder months. Despite that, Bock has clung to her affinity and talent for seasonal dressing, and she just put it on display in Colorado.

The model recently headed to Aspen, Colo., on a work trip with NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER and Brunello Cucinelli. While there, she took the opportunity to indulge her love for winter style, and we have to say, we’re impressed.

Bock stepped out in a pair of cream-colored straight jeans, a greige bodysuit and a tan suede fur-lined jacket. To that, she added a pair of tan ankle boots and a cream-colored scarf. The look was so simple, but so sophisticated—as good an example of winter layering as we’ve ever seen.

“Winter layers are part of my personality that I had missed,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post showing off the look.

Clearly, Bock has a knack for seasonal dressing, which comes as no surprise to us. We will be taking cues from her Colorado fashion for the remainder of the cold season.
