Ever since fitness influencer Katie Austin announced her engagement on Instagram, we have been eagerly awaiting more details about the coming ceremony. Her wedding-related posts—including her engagement party recap and her beautiful engagement photos by the ocean—have only served to make us more excited.

In a recent interview with SI Swimsuit, the former Division I athlete talked everything from fitness and content creation to wedding planning, sharing a few more details about the process ahead of her May 2024 ceremony to Lane Armstrong. And on Oct. 19, she took to her Instagram account to share a few more details from the meticulous planning process.

Austin is perfecting her glam for the beautiful spring ceremony, and posted a reel to update her followers on her the look that she’s going for. According to the fitness coach, she will be trying to achieve “elevated natural bronzed glow with a littttle bit of ~snatch~,” she wrote in the post.

“wedding makeup trial👰‍♀️,” she captioned the short video.

Her simple, natural glam featured a full, dark lash, a little bit of color on her eyelids and a barely pink glossy lip. In true bride fashion, Austin wore a cute white square-neck dress for the trial and sported her hair in a soft curl—which may or may not be the style she plans to go with on her big day.

The countdown is certainly on for the bride-to-be, and we can’t wait to witness more sneak peeks of the process.
