The variety of looks donned for New York Fashion Week are always statement-makers in their own way. Whether vibrant and daring or perfectly accented and accessorized, each and every style we have seen thus far has met and exceeded every bit of our expectations for the event.

Kelsey Merritt’s fabulous Ralph Lauren fashion show style was only the most recent glamorous look to catch our eye. The Filipino-American model attended a New York Fashion Week show on Friday, Sept. 8, and her chosen look for the event was as fitting as it was fabulous.

She donned a black full-length, strapless suede bodycon gown from Ralph Lauren for the occasion. And while it was certainly fabulous enough on its own, the 26-year-old took the style to a whole new level with her chosen accessories—particularly, a black leather belt with an oversized bronze-and-black buckle.

“last night for my first show in nyfw with @ralphlauren 🤎 thank you for having me, I always feel the most beautiful wearing your pieces,” she wrote in the caption, giving credit to the classic brand and its fabulous 2024 collection. In addition to the bronze-tinted belt buckle, Merritt accessorized with a bronzed leather clutch bag, which rounded out her glamorous look.

We weren’t the only ones to take note of her great style in her recent Instagram post from the event. She received a ton of compliments in the comment section. “Pretty lady 🤎,” fellow model Jasmine Tookes wrote on the post.

“Gorgeous ❤️,” Elsa Hosk added.

Merritt’s classic style reminded us what we love about NYFW—the stunning fashion statements and great outfit inspiration for the months to come.
