Celebrity stylist Dani Michelle is responsible for the bulk of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber‘s most showstopping looks. While the supermodels strut their stuff on the streets and influence trends, the Los Angeles-based style guru works behind the scenes to pull pieces from the archives, source straight off the runway, or commission custom items for her A-lister clients.

And, most importantly, she knows how to artfully and creatively pair things together to create a headline-worthy look.

Recently, Michelle has begun to build a name for herself in the jewelry industry. Her philosophy is “when you have great jewelry, your clothes can do less work.” That’s why she created MÉGA, her line of bold, affordable, high-quality mixed metal jewelry. It’s a collection that holds perfect everyday staples, as well as statement stand-alones.

“I really wanted to create something that just felt elevated and chic and timeless, but really cool girl that you can stack together and wear holistically,” she explained. “As a stylist, my job is to take textures, tones and different weights and to find that balance that makes it pleasurable to the eye. I’ve been wearing jewelry to an excess point for a really, really long time—something like 16 rings and all of these bracelets and earrings, and I never take my jewelry off. I sleep in it. I live in it.”

The stylist has even curated stacks on her website, displaying exactly which pieces from her line she would pair together. Michelle advises that gold-plated, high-quality rings are worth the splurge because we use our hands so much.
