Kendall Jenner brought pure polish to Paris Fashion Week on Monday, Oct. 6, attending the highly anticipated unveiling of Matthieu Blazy’s first womenswear collection as artistic director of Chanel. Held at the iconic Grand Palais, the Spring/Summer 2026 show closed out fashion week with cinematic grandeur and a fresh spin on heritage.

2,300 guests attended the show, and many of them were A-listers, but Jenner’s presence was especially meaningful—she’s been a Chanel girl for years, having walked for the house under the late Karl Lagerfeld and returned frequently as a front-row regular.

A tailored take on fall fashion

Jenner dressed the part for the momentous occasion, wearing a chic black tweed set that fused classic Chanel codes with modern structure. The corpcore outfit featured a cropped blazer with sharp shoulders and clean lines, paired with a mid-rise, knee-length pencil skirt. The silhouette was sophisticated and tailored—not too boxy, not too fitted—just the right amount of formality for a show this iconic.

A tiny sliver of midriff peeked out between the pieces, adding a youthful, fashion-forward twist to the otherwise corporate-chic look. The 29-year-old accessorized with a burgundy Chanel shoulder bag for a subtle autumnal pop, black pumps with white capped white toes and chunky silver drop earrings that resembled bubbly orbs—adding dimension to the streamlined silhouette.

Her signature glowy glam was on full display: dewy skin, soft contour, feathered brows and a nude glossy lip. Her fresh bob was blown out and tucked behind one ear for that sleek, French-girl finish.

Honoring Lagerfeld, embracing Blazy

Inside the show, Jenner took a moment to reflect on Karl Lagerfeld, who became Chanel’s artistic director in 1983 and held the position until his passing in 2019. “I have the most fun memories [with Lagerfeld],” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “The shows, the backstage moments... being in his studio, shooting with him—[it] was amazing. I have all of the best memories.”

Of Blazy’s debut, the 818 founder was equally impressed. “He’s so fresh and interesting,” she shared. “I love the shapes, I love the colors. I love his view on fashion in general. It was really exciting to see how he interprets the house. I was really happy to be here.”

The reality TV star’s favorite part of this year‘s show were the unique shoes and timeless bags.

A Chanel veteran through and through, and always one step ahead of the trend, Jenner made her presence known, and stylishly so.
