Kim Kardashian Is Almost Unrecognizable While Sporting New Hairstyle in Paris

The media mogul changed things up for Haute Couture Fashion Week, and fans are loving her new ‘do.

Simply hearing the name “Kim Kardashian” conjures to mind sultry dark hair, usually straight and impossibly shiny, sometimes shoulder-length, sometimes waist-length, sometimes Rapunzel-length—but always long.

However, that all changed this week when the mom, mogul, reality TV star, SKIMS brand founder and SI Swimsuit model—having posed as the cover girl for the brand in 2022 in the Dominican Republic—took to Paris for Haute Couture Fashion Week. There, she seriously switched things up when it came to her signature hairdo, leaving fans breathless thanks to three little letters: B-O-B.

Arriving in France while showing off a new summertime-approved chin-length bob, Kardashian had jaws dropping as she stepped out in style. The new look was truly inspired, cut elegantly into layers that expertly framed her symmetrical features—the exact level of chic the Balenciaga Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025/2026 fashion show called for.

She paired several different outfits with the new hair, the first being an all-white look featuring a figure-hugging maxi dress, opaque tights and pointy-toed heels. She then donned a similar look, this time featuring a plunging neckline in a magnificent magenta shade. Still, her most breathtaking moment was easily the cream-colored silk and lace midi dress she sported for the fashion show itself, which was paired with a fur coat for a final look that could’ve been plucked right out of any film noir.

Her makeup was equally gorgeous, which saw Kardashian sticking with her standard deep neutrals for a classic golden goddess glam. However, the most incredible part of the entire fashion show ensemble was her countless sparkling accessories, with PEOPLE reporting that the reality TV star was decked out in over 250 carats of diamonds.

“Walking Demna’s last Balenciaga Couture show dripping in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and wearing Elizabeth Taylor’s own diamond earrings from her private collection,” Kardashian noted in the description of the Instagram photo drop detailing her striking ensemble. And with this background knowledge, the decision to style her hair short became even clearer, as the cut was serving up some serious Elizabeth Taylor in Suddenly, Last Summer vibes.
