Kristin Juszczyk is bringing her signature blend of purpose and performance to a new partnership. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Off Season designer has collaborated with Athleta to create a limited-edition version of the brand’s Train Free Sports Bra—a campaign that hits close to home.
The collaboration, rooted in Athleta’s mission, officially launches on Sept. 30 and supports Susan G. Komen, with 13% of proceeds going directly to the organization in recognition of the fact that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. “This one means a lot to me,” Juszczyk wrote on Instagram, announcing the project. “I teamed up with @athleta for the limited-edition Train Free Bra in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.”
The partnership
As an entrepreneur, athlete’s wife and advocate, Juszczyk is known for creating stylish, thoughtful pieces with real meaning. But this project, she noted in an IG video, is especially personal. “My mom had breast cancer, and so for me, now I’m 31 years old, I think it’s just so important for early screening. There’s a 99% survival rate when caught early,” she shared. “It’s so important for me to be an advocate of early detection and getting your breasts checked out.”
The design incorporates Athleta’s signature performance tech and Juszczyk’s aesthetic eye, but also a message: to prioritize your health, feel strong in your body and support the people you love. “I hope women feel empowered wearing this bra,” the New York native and San Jose, Calif., resident continued in the caption. “That it reminds them to put themselves first and get their screenings done.”
She also shared that the collab is a playful nod to her last name. “It’s fun to have a little play on words with my last name being Juszczyk” (pronounced yooz-check).
Juszczyk, who has made waves with her NFL and WNBA fanwear designs, has become one of sports fashion’s most talked-about names. But beyond the buzz, she’s building a brand with impact—and collaborations like this show exactly why she stands out.
